Childrens' Day / World Diabetes Day

The Day 14th November is celebrated as World Diabetes Day across the globe in memory of Dr. Frederick Banting for his revolutionary contribution to Medical Science who invented Human Insulin and saved countless lives. Dr. Banting also shares his birthday with Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the day marked in India as Children's Day. With Love in association with Esquare Multiplex organised a memorable day for the children of Nityaasha on the occasion of World Diabetes Day. The kids watched the screening of Faster Fene followed by a wide spread of lunch carefully planned as per their dietary requirements. We distributed sugar free cakes to the kids alongwith school bags as takeaways. The children were thrilled and delighted as most have never stepped into a multiplex before! This wouldn't have been possible withour the generosity of Mr. Neerav and Mrs. Kinnary Panchamia Such moments add positivity in the lives of these children which helps them to deal courageously with a life-threatening disorder like Type 1 Diabetes and feel blessed to be loved and pampered. We hope and pray soon someday there is a permanent cure and all these kids are free to eat play and live a normal life just like any of us.
